8.4.2 Servicing Intervals (Hydraulic
Reverse System)
Please note the following points:
The frequency of the servicing interval for the
following items may be varied to suit actual
ITEM

Pump-Belts
Pump-Belts
Cable Linkages
Reverse Control Lever
Reverse Duct
Actuation Lever
NOTE:
1. If a new Belt has been fitted, the Belt Tension
should be checked and re-tensioned as
required over a period of 24 to 48 hours
"Running-In" period to allow for Belt
settling. After the initial settling in period,
the Belt should be checked on a monthly
basis and re-tensioned as required.
2. This Maintenance Schedule has been
compiled for normal operating conditions. If
the vessel is used in severe conditions where
the oil is likely to become contaminated, the
oil should be replaced at more frequent
intervals.
