INSTALLATION

A number of options are provided as user selectable Jumper plug settings. These options include:
Communications
Baud rate
Parity
Word length
Bi-directional protocol
Computer/Printer selection
Non-total key
The socket strip where the selections are made is located on the main logic board adjacent to the
contrast control. To access the jumper strip <PJ1>, remove power to the unit and turn it over.
Remove the four retaining screws and carefully lift the case top. It will be observed that there is a
ribbon cable running between the display and main logic board. The user may wish to disconnect
this cable, which is easily removed from its socket. Remember to replace this connector after you
have completed your changes.
FACTORY SETTINGS
The internal settings can be displayed on the screen. To assess the status of settings:
1). Set the unit to the STORE mode
2). Pressing the [CLEAR] and [MORPH] keys simultaneously.
The screen will display the factory settings as shown below:
3). Press the [CLEAR] key to exit the status screen.
The user will also observe that jumper strip PJ1 is set-up as follows:
