OPERATION
Check the electrical specifica<on of the wall power adaptor. It must be the same as your local
power (i.e., 110 or 220 AC), to provide an output of 9 volts AC at 200 mA to the DIFFCOUNT III.
POWER ON/OFF SWITCH
Switch power to the ON posi<on. The power switch is located on the rear panel, next to the
power input socket. All channels should display zeros and the word TOTAL should appear on the
display. If your DIFFCOUNT will not turn on, check your electrical outlet. If there is power at the
outlet, then inspect the instrument fuse. (Fuse=1Amp. Slow- Blow type).
CLEAR KEY
Before beginning a new count, the contents of the memory must be erased. By pressing the
CLEAR key, the operator clears the memory and prepares the unit for the next specimen count.
