The batteries recommended for use with the Sunsynk systems are AGM Lead Acid or Lithium Battery Banks. At its core, an AGM is still a lead-acid battery. AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat, which refers to the tech- nology these devices use to create power. This fiberglass mat sits between the positive and negative lead plates of your battery. - Page 45 NOTE: With some types of lithium batteries, the BMS cannot be controlled by the Sunsynk inverter. In this case, treat the battery as a lead-acid type and set the charging and discharging protocol following the battery manufacturer's specifications.
