The transmitter and battery are located in the head of

control. The receiver is located inside the vehicle. The maximum
eff
ective

ge depends on several t

ngs. Remember, if the battery
is weak, the effective range decreases.
If you need

o replace

he remote contro l, or if you need to have it
repaired, you must see your authorized Audi dealer. Only then can
you use the key again
