When parking on level ground,

On a steep ly slop ing road, you should first apply the
parking brake firmly and then p lace the selector lever in P. This way,
you do not over load the pawl mechanism and it is easier to move
the selector lever out of P.

Wh en the engine

vehic le with the footbrake. When
idling,
the transmis sion of pow er
does
not stop complet
ely -
the
vehicle
"creeps".
