Gripper

The Opentrons Flex Gripper is an instrument that can pick

up labware and move it around the deck automatically.

Adding a gripper to the Flex helps improve automated

workflows in your lab. This guide provides a high-level

overview of gripper features, including basic installation,

maintenance, and warranty information.

Labware Compatibility

The gripper is compatible with labware of the following

types:

Certain full-skirted 96-well plates, including

Opentrons Tough PCR plates

Certain deep well plates

All Opentrons Flex tip racks

Check the Opentrons Labware Library for the latest

compatibility information: https://labware.opentrons.com.

The Flex Gripper may work with other ANSI/SLAS

compliant labware, but this is not recommended.
