How to reset TV to iJ Turn on the TV. While holding down the EqES El button on the remote
factory settings control, press the POWR button on the TV. (The TV will turn itself off, then

Cannot operate Menu L_ If a menu option appears in gray, this indicates that the TV is in a state in
which the menu option is not available.

TV makes "popping" sound L_ This is a normal sound that results from the TV automatically degaussing
when turned on each time it is turned on.
LED on front panel is lit L_ The STAND BY LED (see page 11) blinks when the TV is turned on, then
shuts off when the picture is displayed. If the LED blinks continuously, this
may indicate the TV needs service.
L_ The TIMER LED (see page 11) indicates that the timer is set (page 73).
When the timer is set, this LED will remain lit even when the TV is turned
off.
Digital cable box does not L_ Be sure that you have not connected the digital cable box to the TV's TO
work CONVERTER jack. This jack is not compatible with digital cable boxes.
L_ If you are connecting a VCR and digital cable box using a splitter, as
described on pages 24-25, you must use a special bi-directional splitter that
is designed to work with your digital cable box. Contact your cable
