Trip computer
Introduction
The trip computer gives you information on current an d
average fuel mileage, average speed, fuel range and
driving time .

You can switch betwee n the trip computer 1 and 2 by pressing the
1Reset l bu t ton @ =:> page22 , fig.1 1.
You can tell wh ich memory level is curren t ly active by the number in
the disp lay => fig . 10 . The data from the single-trip memory (memory
level 1) is be ing di splayed if a 1 appea rs in the display . If a 2 is show n,
then the data from the total-trip memory is being disp layed (memory
level 2).
Single-trip memory (Trip computer 1 )
The sing le-tr ip memory stores the tr ip informat ion from the t ime the
ign ition is turned on unt il it is t urned off. If the tr ip is cont inued
within 2 hours
from t he ti me the igni t ion wa s turned off, the new
data will be included in the ca lculat ion of the cur rent tr ip informa-
ti on. If the tr ip is int er rup t ed for more than 2 hours t he memo ry is
reset automatically .

Total-tr ip memory (Trip computer 2 )
Unlike the single -t rip memo ry, the to t al -trip memory is no t reset
automatically . This permits you to evaluate your d riving data for the
entire period between manual resets .
Fuel range
The est ima t ed cr uising range in m iles (km) appea rs in the display . The
display changes in increments of 6 mi les (10 km) .
Average fuel mileage
The average fuel economy in MPG (l/100 km) s ince you last cleared
t he memo ry ap pe a rs in t his d isplay.
Current fuel mileage
The inst an t aneous fuel cons umption in miles pe r ga llon (l/ 100 km) is
shown in this d isp lay. When t he vehicle is stationary, the most recent
fue l con su mp t ion is displ ayed .
Average speed
The average speed in mp h (km/ h) since the last t ime t he d isp lay was
reset appears in the display .
Elapsed time
The lengt h of time that yo u have been driving since yo u last reset the
memo ry appea rs in this d isplay. The m ax im um t ime per iod t hat ca n
be recorded is 999 ho ur s and 59 minutes.
Distance
The elapsed distance since the last time the memory was cleared
appea rs in t he display. The m aximu m d istance tha t ca n be recor d ed is
9,999 .9 mi les (9,999 .9 kilomete rs).
