The service interval disp lay reminds you when your nex t
service is due.

The schedu le for t he next oil change or inspection is calculated auto-
matically and displayed accord ingly. The display works in two stages:

30 days befo re the next serv ice is due, a serv ice reminde r a ppears in
th e display when yo u t urn on t he ig niti on.

After about 5 seconds the disp lay switches back to normal. The
dis t ance and time rem aini ng ar e upd at ed each time the ign ition is
tu rned on until the date due for service is reached .

Check > Service > Oil change

Resetting
the service
interval
display
Your authorized Aud i dea ler will reset the correspond ing service
schedule after perfo rming the ap prop riat e serv ice on yo ur vehicle .
You a lso have t he possibility to reset the oil change schedule after
having pe rformed an o il change acco rding t o Aud i specif ications .

Note
If you d isconnect the batte ry termina ls, no ca lculat ions can be made
for the se rvice interva l display du ring this time and no serv ice
reminder will appear . Remember that observ ing t he pr oper service
interva ls is vitally important to extending the life of your vehicle,
part icularly the engine, and maintaini ng its va lue . Even if the mileage
dr iven is low, the maximum per iod of one year from one serv ice to the
ne xt mus t not be exceeded.
