Memory Prxiteclion
\l you try to ^re a number in a mem-
ofy Iccalion which alraacjy contains a
number, a beep is heard and the
me^pe USED afi^ars in (he dis¬
play tor five seconds.
You can then choose either to:
a. Store the number tn a different
memory location. Erster the num¬
ber of this TtiefTiorv location and
press R/S.
b. Store the number in the setecled
memory location, thus erasing
the oid number (and name). Just
press ft/S.
Memory Full
If; when you attempt to store a new
number, a1( memofy locations are in
USB, STORE L0C7 ied^ayad.
If you do not wish to store the num-
ber^ press C,
If, on Ihe other hand, you do wish lo
store Ihe nunrfber. you can do one of
the loHowIng;
a. Store the number temporartly in
the dialling mwiorv- Press #A
(hash). STORED DMIsdis-
pfayed. See also Ihe chapter

whhoul r^acing it with a new ruim-
ber, by proceeding as follows;
If there is anything showing in the
rhjfneric field of the display, erase

2. Press M, foHowed by R/S.
ERASE is displayed,
3. Eriitef the memory location num¬
ber (one. two Of three digits).
4. Pr&ss R/S again. A beep is heard
and USED is displayed.
5. Press R^S again ERASED is dts^
played. Tha number (and name)

aotens ■» (star) and # (hash) can ba
stored.
This allows you to store sequences for
activating and canceling ceftain ceHu-
lar sevices, such as calf forwarding
(catl dived) and call barring. Refer to
the operating Instructions from your
network operator.
Then you can adivaie or cancel such

from memory and pressing Send.
