Precautions for the panoramic view monitor
Always make sure to visually check behind you and your surroundings while
driving. If not, collision with other vehicles or an unforeseen accident may occur.
Follow the below precautions when using the panoramic view monitor.

Never depend on the panoramic view monitor entirely. Always make sure to visually
check behind you and your surroundings as you would when driving any other vehicle.
In particular, be careful not to collide with vehicles parked nearby or other objects.

Always make sure to visually check behind you and your surroundings while you are
driving.

Never drive while looking only at the screen. The image on the screen may be
different to the actual conditions. Moreover, there is a limit to the range of image that
the camera can capture. Never turn or reverse only looking at the screen. Doing so
may result in a collision with another vehicle or some other unforeseen accident. Be
sure to visually check the vehicle' s surroundings and use the vehicle' s rear-view and
side mirrors.

The position of the guide lines displayed on the screen may change due to factors
such as number of passengers, load capacity, and road gradient. Always make sure to
visually check behind you and your surroundings while you are driving.
Do not use the panoramic view monitor in the following cases:

On icy or slick road surfaces, or in snow
•
When using tire chains
•
When the front door(s) or back door are not closed completely
On roads that are not flat, such as hills
•
If the tires of a size other than specified by Lexus are installed
•
If the suspension has been modified
•
If a non-Lexus product is installed on the area displayed on the screen
•
In low external temperatures, the screen may darken or the image may become faint.

The image could distort when the vehicle is moving, or you may not be able to see the
image on the screen, so always visually check your surroundings while you are driving.
If you replace your tires, the position of the guide lines displayed on the screen may be

incorrect.
