The photograph below is a close-up of the left side of the
Firebox® X Peak. It shows the LCD indicator panel. For more
information, see the "LCD Display" appendix of the Fireware
Configuration Guide.
From the left, the indicators are as follows:
Front Panel Display
LCD Console Buttons
Reset
Power
Storage
Arm/Disarm
DB9 Serial Port (Console)
Firebox X Peak Hardware Guide
The LCD screen shows Firebox X Peak status
information. Use the buttons to change the
information that appears.
Use the LCD Console buttons to see or edit the Firebox
X Peak status and configuration.
Use the Reset button to reset the Firebox.
An amber LED (light-emitting diode) indicates that the
power is on.
A green LED indicates that the Firebox is writing to or
reading from the compact flash card or the hard drive
disk (if installed).
A green LED indicates the Firebox is armed. A red LED
indicates the Firebox is disarmed.
A DB9 connector for the serial port. This serial port has
a door that it is necessary to remove to use the serial
port.
