Lubrication

Gearbox
Frequency Replace oil after the first 50 hours of use
and every year thereafter.
Lubricant Type Standard gear oil, 60-90 weight.
(Approx. 0.5 gallon)
How to apply Remove the gearbox panel on the left
side of the planer to access the gearbox.
Identify the drain plug and fill plug as
shown in the picture. Remove the drain
plug to drain the oil from the gearbox.
Used oil should be recycled.
Refill oil until the oil level is between "H"
and "L" as shown on the oil level
indicator.
Check oil level regularly and top off as
needed.
InFeed / Outfeed Roller Bearings
Frequency Every 30 hours
Lubricant Type SAE-30 oil.
How to apply Drip SAE-30 oil through the oil cup on
the bearing blocks. There are two
bearing blocks for each roller.

Lubricant Type General purpose grease
How to apply Wipe general-purpose grease on all
four table ways.
