CAUTIONS
REGARDING
USE OF REMOTE
CONTROL
UNIT
If use is made of the supplied remote control unit,
the
functions
explained
so
far can
be
operated
from a distance.
To use the remote control unit, aim it at the remote
sensor on the front panel of the player.
The operating
range
of the remote
control
unit, is
up to about
7 m
from,
and
within
angles
of 30
degrees left and right of the sensor window on the
player.
@ Even when
the remote
control
unit is operated
within
the
specified
operating
range,
operation
may
not
be
successful
if there
are
obstacles
between
the unit and the player, or if the unit is
not correctly aimed at the player.
® Use of the player near a device which emits unit
infrared rays, or use of another remote control unit
which emits infrared rays, may result in misoper-
ation of the player. On the other hand, use of the
remote
control
unit of the player when
another
device
controlled
by means
of infrared
rays
is
being used, may cause misoperation of that device.
@ The
life
of the
batteries
used
in the
remote
control
unit will vary greatly depending
on
op-
erating conditions,
however
when
they begin to
run
down
the operating
range
will be reduced.
When the player fails to accept commands
when
buttons
on the remote
control
unit are pressed,
and when the operating range is greatly reduced,
please replace the batteries.

About Timer Play Start
When
a magazine is properly loaded with discs and
inserted
into the player,
playback
will begin auto-
matically when the power is turned on.
lf use is made of an audio timer, the player can be
made to start playing from a specified time.
@ When
using a six-disc magazine:
Playback will start from disc 1, track 1.
@ When
using a single-disc magazine:
(Except for
European and U.K. models)
Playback will start from track 1.
