During
programmed
playback,
these
operations
cause
the
player
to
pause
at the
beginning
of
tracks for which
a pause has been specified.
Application
Example
1:
When
recording
on both sides of a cassette tape,
programming
for a pause
to occur
after the com-
pletion of the last track, before the first side of the
tape
runs
out,
will
enable
recording
of the
next
track to begin, after the tape has been turned over.
Application
Example
2:
When
recording
on tape,
programming
for pauses
to occur
between
tracks will allow blank intervals or
narration
to be recorded
on the tape, after which
recording
can
be resumed.

In stop mode,
select disc and track num-
bers.

Press the PGM MEMORY
key.

Press the PAUSE key.
Perform
procedures 3 and 4 to insert a pause at
the beginning of the track selected after proce-
dure 4. A pause is counted as a program step.

Press the PGM MEMORY
key.
To enter another track into the program,
repeat
procedures 1 and 2 above. During playback, there
will be a pause at the beginning of this track.

Up to 32 steps can
be programmed.
Method
of playback

Press the PLAY
key to begin playback.
The player will pause beginning of the track for
which a pause has been specified.

Te resume playback, press the PLAY key or
PAUSE
key.

To program the player to playback track 5 on disc 2,
track 3 on disc 5, and track 8 on disc 3, with a
pause
before the last selection.
