Mower Installation
& Removal__
li^ACfOR/MOWER COMBINATIONS^
Tractor/mower combinations are shown in
the chart. For the 36 inch and 48 inch
mowers, always use the PTO rod shipped
with mower. For the 42 inch mower, the
correct PTO rod to use depends on the
tractor. Model 6111 always uses a shorter
(17-1/4") PTO rod. Models 6116 and 6118
always use a longer (19") PTO rod. See
figure 1 to measure a rod. (When a 42"
mower is shipped with a tractor the correct
PTO rod is supplied.)

WARNING
Stop engine, set parking brake, and
remove key to prevent accidental start¬
ing. Never attempt to install or remove
your mower when engine is running.
INSTALLATION
1. Place the tractor and mower on a
smooth, hard suface, such as concrete,
with the mower on the right side of the
tractor, and the hitch toward front of
_the tractor.

2. Turn the front wheels of the tractor as
far as they go to the left.
3. Lower the tractor lift lever. Place the
mower in lowest cutting position us-;
ing the mower height control lever.

4. Slide the mower under the tractor so /
that the lift chain is under the lift lever
arm (figure 2).
5. Hook the Tift rod (E) into the lift lever
arm (B). Hook the chain (A) onto the
lift rod (E).
6. Attach the mower hitch to the rear
holes in the tractor hitch using the two
pins and safety clips provided. The left
_side is shown attached in figure 3.
