Select the sub menu(Digital
Output, DTS or
Dynamic Compression)
using the At'
buttons, then press the ENTER or • button.
Dynamic Compression
This is only active when a Dolby Digital signal is detected.
• On : _q]en Movie soondtracks are played at low volume or
from smaller speakers, the system can apply appropriate
compression to make low-level content more intelligible and
prevent dramatic passages from getting too loud.
,, Off :You can enDy the movie with standard Dynamic
Range.
Digital Output
.. PCM : Converts to PCM(2CH)
48kHz audio.
Select PCM if your amplifier system is stereo and/or
Dolby Prologie.
,, Bitstream : Outputs bitstream (original format) such
as Dolby or DTS.
Select bitstream if your amplifier system has multi
channel digital audio surround
decoding (Dolby
Digital and/or DTS).
Use the At' buttons to select the desired
item(PCM, Bitstream, DTS-Off, DTS-On,
Dynamic Compression-Off
or Dynamic
Compression-On).
Then press the ENTER or • button.

Press the RETURN or _1 button to return
to the previous

Press the MENU button to exit the menu.
DTS
• Off : Doesnt output DTS bitstream (original format).
,, On : Outputs DTS bitstream. (via Digital output)
Select DTS when connecting
to a digital amp with
DTS decoder.
. When DTS soundtrack
is played, sound is not output
from Analog Audio Output.
