Stainless Steel Rock Guards

Stainless steel rock guards protect the front end from
road debris You can clean behind the rock guards by
swinging them forward on their hinges They are locked
in place with two acorn-style nuts, removable with a
7/16" wrench

Step

To operate the step, lift up on the front of the step
and pull straight out until step locks into place After
extending step, the second portion folds out To store
the step, fold it back into position, lift the front slightly,
and push the step back into its storage area
WARNING
Never enter the trailer without lowering the steps.
Always check that the steps are down before
stepping out of the trailer. Once the steps are
lowered, press down on them to make sure they
are secure in their notches. Never travel with step
lowered or extended.

Power Awning

The awning's primary function is sun protection It is
not water proof, therefore, roll up your awning in case
6-4
of heavy rain, wind, or snow Complete operating
instructions have been provided with your power
awning Make sure your traveling companion is familiar
with the operation of the awning
The Awning Menu provides power awning controls to
OPEN and CLOSE the awning The status display will
change while the awning is in motion The awning can
be stopped at any point for partial extension by tapping
the icon a second time LED light strips have been
installed with your awning providing accent lighting
The LED lights are operated by the main Multiplex
control panel or the Exterior light Master on the panel
located at the entry door
Once the awning has been fully OPENED tilt icons
will be displayed Tapping the icons will tilt the awning
towards the front OR rear of the travel trailer The
status display will change to read the current tilt The
awning can not be tilted in both directions at the same
time
The power awning will automatically lock if the travel
trailer is plugged into a tow vehicle through the 7-way
plug, and the tow vehicle's brake pedal is pressed The
touch screen's awning status will display "locked" To
unlock, press and hold together the tilt front and tilt rear
buttons located on the entry door switch panel
Clear tape is placed between the exterior skin and the
awning fabric to prevent the awning fabric from rubbing
on the coating, thus wearing through it Inspect the
tape every year or after a long trip Have it replaced if it
begins to wear thin
The power awning is controlled by either the switch
panel located inside the main door or the main
Multiplex control panel You can also control the
awning through the Airstream Smart RV Control app
You will get a pop up to confirm when using the app
to ensure you are intending for the awning to deploy
Make sure that there is nothing that can impede the
deployment of the awning
