AUDIO DUBBING
This function enables you to re-record a desired audio source over the audio part of a recorded video tape.
Notes
@ The audio signal recorded during audio dubbing depends on the
position of the INPUT selector.
TUNER — Television signal

A SEPARATE TV MONITOR
To play tapes using a TV with video and audio input
For connection cables needed you may prefer to consult your
dealer.
The personal video unit is equipped with the so-called CINCH or
RCA sockets.
@ Select the "AV" input mode on the TV. (Consult the directions
for use of the TV.)

Turn on the power and load a recorded video tape which has
its erase protection tab intact (not broken off).
While playing the tape, press the PAUSE/STILL button at the
point where you wish to begin the audio dubbing.
Press the AUDIO DUBBING button.
Make sure that the AUDIO DUBBING indicator lights.
After preparing the audio source to be used for dubbing,
press the PAUSE/STILL button.
Audio dubbing begins.
To stop the audio dubbing operation, press the STOP button.
When you want to interrupt the audio dubbing operation
press PAUSE/STILL button.
@ Audio dubbing cannot be performed with a video tape which
has its erase protection tab broken off.
If you wish to perform audio dubbing with such a tape, first
cover the erase protection hole with cellophane tape.
