Adjusting the Airflow Direction

You can adjust the airflow direction to increase your comfort.
&CAUTION
• Always use a remote controller to adjust the angles of the flaps. Moving the flaps forcibly by
hand may cause a malfunction.
• Be careful when adjusting the louvres. Inside the air outlet, a fan is rotating at a high speed.
■To start auto swing
Upper and lower airflow direction
1 . Press (<:.i s wl N Gj .
• " (� " is displayed on the LCD.
• The flap (horizontal blade) will begin to swing.
Right and left airflow direction
1 . Press 1�sw1 N G] •
• "-e-" is displayed on the LCD.
• The louvres (vertical blades)
will begin to swing.
The 3-D airflow direction
1 . Press (<:nw i N 0 and (�SWI N G) •
•"(�"and "-e-" are displayed on the LCD.
• The flap and louvres move in turn.
• To cancel 3-D airflow, press either
The flap or louvres will stop moving.
■ To set the flap or louvres at desired position
• This function is effective while flap or louvres are in auto swing mode.

• In the 3-D airflow, the flap and louvres move in turn.
• "(�"or" �" disappears from the LCD.
Note on 3-D airflow
• Using 3-D airflow circulates cold air, which tends to collect at the bottom of the room,
and hot air, which tends to collect near the ceiling, throughout the room, preventing
areas of cold and hot developing.
