Specific safety instructions for impact drills
 Always wear ear protection while working.
The effects of noise can lead to loss of hearing.
 Use the additional hand grips supplied with the device. Losing control of the machine
can lead to injury.
 Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation
where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a
„live" wire will also make exposed metal parts of the power tool „live" and shock the
operator.
Additional safety instructions
 Unplug the machine before you work on it or change a drill bit.
 When working with the drill, always wear protective glasses and, if necessary, a
dust-protection mask.
 The mains voltage supply must correspond to the data given on the label on the machine.
Devices labelled for 230V can also be connected to a 220V mains supply.
 Never operate the on/off switch before you have plugged the machine into the mains.
Make sure that the switch is in the "off" position.
