Stop the machine immediately if considerable vibrations occur, or if malfunctions can be
determined. If such a situation occurs, check the machine to find the cause.
Operation
 Always wear safety-goggles during your work.
 Hold the angle grinder with both of your hands on the provided handles.
 Do not touch the material to be cut or grinded, before the angle grinder reaches its maximum
speed.
 Start your job only after the maximum speed has been reached.
 To switch on the tool, press the switch (4) to the front.
 Release the on/off switch (4) to switch the tool off.
 ATTENTION: Disc will run out slowly!
 Pull down the angle grinder only after the disc has come to a complete stop.
Changing the carbon brushes
 Open the carbon brush cover (6) with a screwdriver and remove the carbon brushes.
 Always replace the carbon brushes in pairs.
 Fit the carbon brush cover (6) back on and screw it down.
Maintenance and cleaning
 The angle grinder does not require any special maintenance.
 Disconnect the machine from the power-supply, before doing any cleaning jobs.
 Keep the housing clean by using a dry cloth or brush.
 Do not use any cleaning agents, as they might attack the material of the housing.
 Let no liquids enter the inside of the machine.
 Always keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean. Protect the machine from dust and
dirt to prevent risk of electric shock.
 Remove swarf from the ventilation shafts and inside of the machine with the help of
compressed air.
 If the power cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by a special connection
cable, which is available from the manufacturer or their customer service. Repair and
maintenance work may only be carried out by authorized, qualified personnel. We highly
recommend that you contact our service centre if you need to.
