I Quick Start Guide to Navigation
Introduction
This function is the navigator and very latest Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology to provide you with
accurate street level navigation via clear and precise voice prompts,
Calculated routes and voice guidance are may be different from the actual road circumstances.
GPS positioning may not be available depending upon the vehicle's circumstance.
For instance, when you are inside a tunnel or a building.
Do not install the wireless device around this unit. It may cause a bad GPS signal reception.
If you are driving with bad signal reception, GPS positioning time may take longer than when you are stationary,
Keep your unit away from excessive moisture and extreme temperature.
Because of the GPS signal error (about 10 meters), or bad signal reception, Your position displayed on the
map may be different from actual your position.
It may take some time to receive GPS signals (about 5 ~ 30 minutes) after initial purchase or in first time use
after long period time unused.
Go to where the sky is visible, with no obstruction from skyscrapers and wait for good reception.
GPS signal reception can be effect by following situations, this is not a device problem.
* When you put a something on the GPS antenna.
* When you have metallic coating on the car glasses.
* When it is cloudy or bad weather
* When vehicle is inside a tunnel, under the elevated road, in an underground parking lot, in subway
* When vehicle is in skyscrapers
A Safety Precautions
■ Look at the display only when it is absolutely safe to do so.
■ Never attempt to disassemble, repair or make any modification to your device since this could cause damage
to the device, and even bodily injury or property damage.
■ Keep SD cards in a well-protected case so as to avoid dust and humidity when you are not using it and also
make sure that no foreign objects can enter the SD slot.
