Introduction

Thank you for purchasing an IDS hyyp AppConnectLTE Plugon. IDS hyyp offers powerful,
versatile and highly configurable reporting and control capabilities, which will keep you,
informed and in control of your IDS alarm system when away from your premises.
This Installer manual covers all installation topics.

Module Installation

When inserting the pins from the HYYP module into the 6 and 10 way connector into the
connectors, make sure not to bend the pins and that the pins are not misaligned.
IMPORTANT:
A 12mm metal standoff must be used to fasten the hyyp AppConnectLTE Plugon to the
alarm control panel. This serves as a ground for the hyyp AppConnectLTE Plugon.

Antenna Installation

The unit is supplied with a blade antenna with a 25cm cable with a connector on the end
to screw onto the antenna connector on the module. The blade antenna has double
sided tape to adhere it to a surface in the vertical position.
NOTE:

Do not leave the antenna in the plastic or metal box when installing.
•
Only use an external antenna.
