Advanced Techniques
÷ You can protect important i mages from accidental erasure.
• If you execute FORMAT,all images including protected images will be erased.
1. Set the device to CAMCORDER and set the Power Switch to MEMORY PLAY mode.
2. Using the _€'(FWD) and 44 (REV) buttons, search for the still image that you want to mark.
3. Press the MENU button.
• The menu list will appear.
4. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight MEMORY and press the MENU DIAL.
• The MEMORY SET sub-menu will appear.
5. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PROTECT and press the MENU DIAL.
6. Press the MENU DIAL to set PROTECT to ON or OFR
• THIS FILE : protects the currently selected file from erasure.
7. Using the I¢, (FWD) and 44 (REV), search for the still image that you wish to protect.
8. To exit the menu, press the MENU button.
