Assembly/Installation

7.1 Assembly/Installation on Model HC 314
Remove the machine's side panel cover plate (A), fence assembly (B) and
the fence guide (C). Remove the 4 blind plugs from the side panel.
Install the bracket (D), using 4 each cap screws M 5x12 with self-locking
hex. nuts M 5 and the small upper cover plate (E).
Fit the drill chuck cover to the brackets so that it swings freely.
Use 2 pcs. hex. head screw M 5x12, 4 pcs. disk spring Ø 5.3 and 2 pcs.
hexagon nut M 5.
After fitting the carrying bracket reinstall the side panel cover plate (A),
fence assembly (B) and the fence guide (C).
Bolt the carrying bracket to the side
panel with 4 each screws, spring
washers and hexagon nuts supplied.
7.2 Assembly/Installation on Model HC 320/410
Remove the drill chuck cover plate.
(Always disconnect from power before servicing.)
Reinstall the side panel cover plate
before attaching the morticing attach-
ment to the carrying bracket with 4
hex. head screw M 8x20.
Install the drill chuck cover brackets

Install the drill chuck (optional acces-
sory) on the cutterblock shaft and
secure with the screw supplied.
Fit the drill chuck cover to the brackets
so that it swings freely.
Hardware:
2 pcs hex. head crew M 5x12
4 pcs disc spring Ø 5.3
2 pcs hexagon nut M 5
