For Your Safety
Working safely with this unit is
possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions
contained
strictly followed.
Never work with a damp unit and never oper-
ate it in humid surroundings.
Store the dry unit in a frost-free place.
Before operating the unit, check the cable and
plug. Do not operate the unit if you detect any
damage. Only a qualified technician is allowed
to repair it. Never open the unit yourself.
Do not charge batteries of other manufactur-
ers. The unit is intended only for charging
Bosch batteries (NiCd/NiMH) having voltages
between 7,2 V and 14,4 V.
The battery must be inserted properly into the
charging compartment/adapter. Make sure it
makes contact and no foreign objects obstruct
it.
Owing to the fact that the battery charger heats
up during the charging process, it should not
be operated on easily inflammable surfaces
(e. g., paper, textiles, etc.) or in combustible
surroundings.
Always keep the charging compartment 5 free
of any foreign objects and protect it from debris
and moisture.
Do not carry or hang up the unit by the cable.
Never allow children to use the unit.
Bosch is only able to ensure perfect operation
of the unit, if the original accessories intended
for it are used.
