The BML 2415 is suitable for charging maintenance-free batteries and standard batteries, as well as greatly discharged batteries. It is solely suitable for charging perfect standard and maintenance-free plumbic acid batteries with nominal capacities of 12 Ah up to a maximum of 180 Ah and a nominal voltage of 12 Volts and 24 Volts.
When the green LED (Fig. 1, Pos. 3) lights up, a voltage of 2.3 V or 2.4 V (depending on the battery temperature set) has been reached in each cell. In a properly working battery, this indicates that the battery is about 60% charged and can be used. The battery must be tested before trickle charging. To continue charging, to trickle charge, or to run the battery in buffer mode, the battery temperature switch must be switched to "Warm battery".
