2. Remove the:
a. Battery
b. Optical drive
c. Keyboard
d. Base cover
3. To remove the speakers:
a. Disconnect the speaker cable from the computer [1].
b. Un-route the speaker cable from the routing channels and lift the speakers to remove it from the chassis [2].
NOTE: Peel the tape (if available) that secures the speaker cable to the chassis.
c. Remove the speakers from the computer [3].

Installing the speakers

1. Place the speakers into the slots on the computer.
2. Route the speaker cable through the retention clips on the touchpad buttons and the computer.
3. Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
4. Install the:
a. Base cover
b. Keyboard
c. Optical drive
d. Battery
5. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer
