6 Electrical wiring

6 ELECTRICAL WIRING
6.1 ELECTRICAL WIRING CONNECTION FOR
INDOOR UNIT
Electrical box location
The service panel for the fan motor of the indoor unit is provided at the bot-
tom side of the unit, and the service panel for the electrical box is provided
at the right side of the unit as shown below.

Open the bottom side Service Panel

Cut out the centre of the rubber bushing in the wiring connection hole
of the unit showed above and of the electrical box shown below.

Connect the power supply and ground wires to the terminals in the
electrical box as shown below

Connect the wires between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit to the
terminals 1 and 2 in the electrical box.

Connect the cable of the Remote Control Switch to the terminals A
and B in electrical box.

Tightly fix the wires with the cord clamp inside the indoor units.

Seal the wiring connection hole after running the cables with the seal
material (cover plate) to protect the unit from condensed water and
insects
C A U T I O N
Use twisted shielded pair cable or shield pair cable for transmission wires
between the indoor and the outdoor units, and connect the shielded part
to the earth screw in the electrical box of the indoor unit as shown in the
figure
