Important safety notice
Connection
When installing the hose for the air conditioner
q
circuit, take care not to allow invasion of dirt,
dusts and water into the hose.
Check that the O-rings are fitted to the joints
q
when connecting the air conditioner piping.
Once an O-ring is used, it is deformed and dete-
q
riorated. Accordingly, do not reuse it.
When removing the O-rings, use a soft tool so
q
that the piping is not damaged.
Check that the O-ring is not damaged or deterio-
q
rated.
Apply compressor oil for refrigerant (R134a) to
q
the O-ring.
a However, do not apply oil to the threaded part
of a bolt, nut or union.

When tightening nuts of the air conditioner hos-

es and tubes, be sure to use 2 wrenches.
Use one wrench to fix and tighten the nut with
the other wrench to the specified torque (Use a
torque wrench for tightening).
