MY LVAC-200 was working great - loved it. But today it started to make a flapping sound at the motor in the handle. after 20 sec or so it stops and flashes the 3 LEDs. I've disassembled it down to minimum and cleaned everything. I assure you it is not clogged - even the pre-motor filter is clean and white like new. If just left running it keeps running but if you cause it to **** air by blocking the intake it shuts down. Suction seems to be less than original new state. Is there any way for me to open and insect the motor?

To inspect the motor area of the Levoit LVAC-200 vacuum cleaner, turn the motor filter cover counterclockwise to open it. Inside, you will find the post-motor filter. Remove and inspect the filter for cleanliness. Keep the suction area and the small trap door on the bin clean as part of regular maintenance.

Why does the vacuum have to be stored on a wall mount? Can it just be stored in the upright position instead of wall mount?

The Levoit LVAC-200 vacuum needs to be stored on a wall mount instead of in an upright position because, although it can stand on its own, it is wobbly and may topple over, posing a hazard, especially around pets or children. The wall mount provides stable and safe storage.
