HOTRUN-X24 Installer only set-up manual
This manual is for the installer only to use during the installation to set-up the variable
options of ELWA HOTRUN X24 water heaters.

Hotrun X-range - Initiation instructions

There are three soft touch-keys used in multiple combinations for the set-up mode.
The buttons are: "+"UP " -" DOWN & ON/OFF.

With each step, press and hold the buttons in the sequence described to access the
desired setting modes.
1. When the power comes on for the first time, you will hear a beep sound, and the LED
display will illuminate for 2 seconds, go dark and enter the standby-mode.
Press ON/OFF. The display will turn on and show the set temperature for 3 seconds
and then show the actual temperature on the water inside the water heater.
2. Once the power is on, you can set the required temperature. Press "+" to increase
the temperature by one degree, press "-" to decrease the temperature by one degree.
You can set the required temperature from 30°C to 60°C. After setting the temperature
the display will flash again 3 times.
HOTRUN X24 Power settings: (default P3=24kWatt)
After entering this selection mode as described above,
Turn the water heater off and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds.
The display will show P1, P2 or P3
P1 = 12kWatt, 3x16Amp, flow rate 8 L/Min
P2 = 18kWatt, 3x25Amp, flow rate 11 L/Min
P3 = 24kWatt, 3x35Amp, flow rate 14 L/Min
After selecting the required power setting, press the "ON/OFF" button (or don't touch for
5 seconds) to save.
After setting the power to P1, P2 or P3 the flow rate needs to be reduced to match the
power settings.
Start-up flowrates: 2.5 L/min for all power settings
If the water flow is less than 2.5 L/min the system will stop heating.
