About settings and memory contents
« Whenever power is switched off by pressing the POWER button or by operation of the Auto Power
Off function, tone and rhythm settings, Song Memory contents (page E-55), and Registration
Memory contents (page E-52) are retained. All of these settings and memory data items are
available when you switch power on again.
* The settings and data described above are retained while power is switched off as long as
electrical power is supplied to the unit. This means that if you remove batteries or if batteries go
dead, and you disconnect the unit from an externa! power supply (AC adaptor), settings and data
stored in memory will all be lost.
¢ Note that the following settings are not retained when power is switched off, and they are initialized
whenever you switch power on.
