Jorvik JET-E2 Elite Hub Drive Dual Battery Folding Tricycle Wheel Assembly Instructions Loosen the nuts on the front wheel, position the wheel with the torque washer towards the floor. The wheel should be installed by lining up the brake rotor and the flat sides of the wheel axle with forks dropouts. The disc brake should be on the back and left side of the fork.

Jorvik JET-E2 Elite Hub Drive Dual Battery Folding Tricycle Fitting the Stem and Handlebars Open the stem by pushing down on the release catch situated on the left side of the stem cover. Loosen the bolt underneath using a 5mm Hex key and rotate the stem head to allow access to the main stem bolt.

The front of the basket has the mountain brackets further forwards. Use the bolts and washers to fix the fenders in place as shown.

Disc Brakes Jorvik Tricycles are equipped with disc brakes for maximum reliability whatever the conditions and load. Pulling on the brake levers will engage the brake calliper and apply pressure from the pads to the brake rotor on the wheel. This creates friction slowing the wheel down.

How to Use Your Gears The Jorvik Jet-E2 is equipped with the Shimano Nexus 7 speed internal gear system. This is easy to maintain and very few external parts to be serviced or damaged. To change gear, stop pedalling as you move the rotate the gear shifter and start pedalling as soon as the gear is selected.
Check crank bolts are tight, Jet-E1, JMT3, JMT6, JMT9 and JMT11: With a long handled 8mm hex key apply force clockwise while pushing down on the crank arm in your left hand. It should be between 35-40Nm with a torque wrench or the weight of your body. Small vibrations can cause the bolt to slacken while in use and damage the crank arms (this is not a warranty issue).

• Check all wheel nuts, bolts or Quick Release skewers are tight: Jet-E1 rear wheels are to be hand tight (20Nm max) with an 8mm hex key. All other trikes use a 19mm socket and are to be 30Nm. Front hub drives 19mm spanner or socket and to be 35Nm or full weight of a person pushing down.

Waterless cleaners are the safest to use as the electrical system is found throughout the frame and rear areas. While we do all we can to ensure the system is water resistant the use of pressure washers will force water past the seals on any cabling.

For the rear chain slacken the 6 frame assembly bolts and pull the frame back and tighten up with a 17mm socket and ring spanner.
