Decommissioning

To decommission the water heater:
1. Turn off the water heater (see 8.7.1)
2. Drain the water heater (see 8.7.2)

Turn off the water heater

Refer to the procedure in the user part to Turn off the water heater (see 4.2) and isolate
the water heater from the mains power supply.

Draining

Refer to the installation diagram when you drain the water heater:
1. If applicable, close the service stop valve (11) in the hot water pipe.
2. If applicable, close the stop valves (4) of the circulation pipe (C).
3. Close the stop valve (4) in the cold water supply.
4. Open the drain valve (9).
5. Aerate the entire installation of air until the water heater is completely drained.
6. If the water heater needs to be drained completely, disconnect and tilt the water
heater in the direction of the drain valve.
