Operation Overview
Using the Dryer

Clean the Lint Filter.
• If the lint filter has not already been cleaned,
lift out the filter and remove the lint from the
last load. This will help ensure the fastest
and most efficient drying performance.
Make sure to reinstall the filter, pressing
down until it clicks firmly into place.

Load the Dryer.
• Load the dryer with the wet laundry from the
washer. If the load is extra large, you may
need to divide it into smaller loads for proper
performance and fabric care.

Turn on the Dryer.
• Press the Power button to turn on the dryer.
The programme LEDs will illuminate and a
chime will sound.

Select a programme.
• Press a programme button to select a
programme. The preset temperature, dry
level, and option settings for that
programme will be shown.

Adjust Settings.
Default settings for the selected programme
can now be changed, if desired, using the
programme modifier and option buttons.
• Not all modifiers and options are available
on all programmes. A different chime will
sound and the LED will not come on if the
selection is not allowed.

Begin programme.
• Press the Start/Pause button to begin the
programme. The programme can be paused

at any time either by opening the door or by
pressing the Start/Pause button. If the
programme is not restarted within a certain
time of being paused, the dryer will shut off
and the settings will be lost.

End of programme
• When the programme is finished, the chime
will sound. Immediately remove your
clothing from the dryer to reduce wrinkling.
If Anti Arrugas (Wrinkle Care) is selected,
the dryer will tumble briefly every few
minutes to help prevent wrinkles from
setting in the clothes.

Preparing the Laundry

NOTE
• Do not overload the appliance for the best
drying performance and most efficient energy
usage.
Checking the clothes before
loading
CAUTION
• Check that the clothes are not stuck between
appliance and door, otherwise the clothes may
get damaged while drying.
• Observe the maximum load capacity on the
programme table for the relevant drying
programme to get optimum drying results.
Overloading gives a poor drying result and
causes unnecessary creasing.
• Do not load soaking wet clothes into the
appliance. It will cause an increasing of drying
time and energy consumption. Make sure that
the clothes are spun thoroughly before loading.
• A mixed fabric load can cause the drying time to
be extended and the time remaining in the
display to pause during active drying. The
