M Hybrid
Principle
The behavior of the hybrid system can be ad-
justed.
General information
Different settings for the hybrid system are
provided.
Mode Behavior of hybrid system
"HYBRID" Hybrid mode.
"ELECTRIC" Electric mode.
"eCONTROL" The high-voltage battery
charge is maintained.

Using the button
Press the button and select the desired
program on the control display.

Driving
Via iDrive
It is possible to configure the required program
for buttons M1 or M2.
1. Press the button.
2. "M1 CONFIGURATION" or "M2
CONFIGURATION"
3. "M HYBRID"
4. Select the desired program.
The setting is immediately applied with ac-
tive M1 or M2 configuration.
To activate the desired configuration with the
selected settings, press the corresponding but-
ton on the steering wheel:

Principle
M Engine Dynamics Control affects the vehicle
drivetrain's response to movements of the ac-
celerator pedal.
