A - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
A1 - OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
• Read this manual carefully before installing.
• Do not allow children to handle the product.
• For detailed use of the remote control (pedestrian access,
deleting), please refer to the gate opener instructions.
• This remote control is compatible only with Thomson gate
openers fitted with one of the electronic cards described in
these instructions. If in doubt regarding compatibility, please do
not hesitate to contact our technical support service.
A2 - SERVICING AND CLEANING
• Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean your product.
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive substances.
• Do not spray any products directly onto the unit.
A3 - RECYCLING
The disposal of used batteries in household waste
is strictly forbidden. Batteries/accumulators
containing harmful substances are marked with
symbols (shown opposite) which indicate that it is
forbidden to discard them in the household waste.
The corresponding heavy metals are referred to
as follows: Cd= cadmium, Hg= mercury, Pb= lead.
You can dispose of these used batteries/accumulators at local
waste treatment centres (centres for sorting recyclable materials),
which are required to accept them. Keep batteries/button cells/
accumulators out of reach of children and store them in a safe
place not accessible to them. They could be swallowed by
children or pets. Risk of death! In the event that a battery is
swallowed, consult a doctor or go to A&E immediately. Never
short-circuit the batteries, and do not burn or recharge them as
they may explode!
This symbol means that devices no longer in use
should not be disposed of with household waste as
they are likely to contain hazardous substances that
are dangerous to health and the environment.
Return the equipment to your local distributor or use
the recycling collection service provided by your
local council
.

B1 - REMOTE CONTROL
Every key can be programmed to operate an automatic sliding
or swinging gate opener.
Only one key is required to control one automatic opener.

• Type: AM On/Off Keying (OOK) modulation. 16-bit Rolling
code encoder (i.e. 65,536 possible combinations)
• Frequency: 433.92MHz

• Keys: 4 keys
• Radiated power: < 10mW
• Battery life: 2 years at a rate of 10 x 2s uses per day
• Operating temperature: -20°C/+60°C
• Protection rating: IP40 (For indoor use only: home, car or
sheltered location)
• Your product is guaranteed for parts and labour for 1 year
from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase must be retained
for the duration of the warranty period.
• The warranty does not cover the battery, nor does it cover
damage caused by negligence, knocks, or accidents.
• None of the components of this product may be opened or
repaired by any persons not employed by Avidsen except to
insert or replace the battery.
• The warranty will be void if the device is tampered with.
D2 - HELP AND ADVICE
• Despite the care we have taken in designing our products and
drafting these instructions, you may still encounter difficulties
when installing your product, or have questions. If this is the
case, please do not hesitate to contact one of our specialists
who will be glad to help.
• If you have any operating problems during or shortly after the
installation, please ensure you are next to your installation when
contacting us, so that one of our technicians can diagnose the
source of the problem, as this is often caused by an incorrect
setting or an installation that is not to specification. If the
problem is caused by the product itself, the technician will give
you an RMA number so that you can return the unit to the
shop.
Without this RMA number, the shop may refuse to exchange
your product.
