Rear Wheelchair Restraints

A. Retrieve the rear wheelchair restraints. The restraints
attach to the anchors at the rear of the vehicle
To attach the restraints, lift the toggle then slide them
onto the anchors on the floor
restraints are secure by trying to slide them off
without lifting the toggle. The restraints are now fixed
to the vehicle floor, ready for use.
B. Now attach both rear restraint hooks to the rear
frame of the wheelchair. To extend the restraints
push down on the red lever and pull the strap to the
required length
fixed at approximately 45 degrees .
IMPORTANT NOTE
Don't attach the restraint hooks to the wheels or any
plastic or removable parts of your wheelchair. Some

wheelchairs have a designated attachment point which
will be marked with a

C. To secure the restraints, locate the adjusters found on
the side of each restraint and turn until the straps
become taut
D. The rear of the wheelchair is secure when both
wheelchair restraints have been attached and
tightened
