@ RECEIVER AMPLIFIER SECTION OPERATION
INPUT SELECTOR kays:
Press VCR 1, VCR 2, VOP, TV, TAPE 1/
DAT, TAPE 2, CD, TUNER, PHONO or LINE
to select the amplifier input. '
SURROUND MODE key:
The surround mode is switched in the
following manner each time the key is
pressed:
po STADIUM + SIMULATED + DOLBY
SURROUND = 3CH
LOGIC
OFF --* DOLBY PRO LOGIC
SOUND FIELD select key:
The sound field setting changes in the
following manner each time this key is
pressed.

ACOUSTIC select key:
The acoustic setting changes in the
following manner each time this key is
pressed
Ee Na indication (FLAT) + POU PNESS

SLEEP timer key:
Activates the SLEEP timer. The length
changes in the following manner each time
the key is pressed:
+ 60+ 30 OFF
Unit: minutes
Display appearance if 60 minutes is
selected.

When SLEEP is ON, the display section is
about half as bright as when SLEEP is OFF.
RECEIVER POWER key:
Switches the receiver power ON/
STANDBY.
SP-A key:
ON/OFF switch for SPEAKERS A
SP-B key:
ON/OFF switch for SPEAKERS B

Use these keys to adjust the surround
sound,
(A) CENTER LEVEL (+, -}
Adjust the center speaker sound level.
) BALANCE (L, R}
Adjust the balance of the left and right front
and rear speakers.
© REAR BALANCE (L, R}
Adjust the balance of the left and right rear
speakers.
@) REAR LEVEL (+, -}
Adjust the sound level of the rear speakers
to the level of the front speakers.
RETURN key:
Press the RETURN key to return the unit
into the initial state. TUNER is selected at
this initial state. Adjust the sound level by
MASTER VOLUME keys.
MUTING key:
Used to temporarily mute the sound.
The volume is restored when pressed
again.
MASTER VOLUME keys:
Adjusts the overall (front, center and rear)
volume.
(~ DELAY TIME key:
Switches the delay time for surround each
time it is pressed.
DOLBY PRO LOGIC SURROUND:
