39. SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Seat and bassinet when used off chassis can roll
over on soft surfaces and suffocate child. NEVER place seat and bassinet
on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.
40. Do not let other children play unattended near the bassinet or seat.
41. NEVER use this bassinet or seat as means to transport an infant in a motor
vehicle.
42. The seat or bassinet do not replace a cot or a bed and is not intended for
prolonged periods of sleeping. Should your child need to sleep, then it
should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.
43. Always use the harness with the seat.
44. SUFFOCATION HAZARD
Infants can suffocate:
- In gaps between an extra pad and side of the bassinet.
- On soft bedding.
NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the pad
provided by Bugaboo.
45. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be
placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
Some instructions require special attention for ensuring the safe use of the
Bugaboo Donkey. When you see this symbol in the instructional part of the
user guide, please refer to the warnings in the "WARNINGS" chapter.
