4. Press O to Choose "Disc", and then
press O to display the menu screen
concerning disc.
5. Press _ to choose "Format Disc", and
then press the ENTER button.
The messagefor verifyinginitializationwill appear.
6. Choose "Yes" and press the ENTER but-
ton.
When initializing one side of the disc is complete,
the DVD camcorder will return to the recording
pause status.
When initializing the other side of disc, turn the disc over, and repeat the above pro-
cedure from step 2.
