Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
1. Before cleaning always disconnect the Multideck Refrigerator from the electricity supply.
2. Clean using either warm soapy water, or a suitable antibacterial cleaning agent, dry thoroughly before
reconnecting the electricity supply.
3. Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents.
Cleaning the Condenser
Your Polar Multideck Refrigerator will benefit from having the condenser cleaned at regular intervals, your
Polar service agent will be able to carry this out for you.
Operating outside of the recommend temperature range and placing next to a heat source
will also increase the amount of ice and internal/external condensation. If external
condensation occurs wipe the surface down with a cloth.
Excessive ice will result in longer running times that will increase energy consumption and
increase the deterioration of components.

Troubleshooting

A qualified technician must carry out repairs if required.

Solution
Check the unit is plugged in correctly and
switched on
Replace Plug or Lead
Replace the fuse
Check mains power supply
Ventilate room or area around Multideck
Increase air flow around multideck
Take out some food
Consult a qualified Technician
Adjust position to level
Move position
No action required
Ensure all grills and ventilation are not
obstructed. Pull down the shutter for 1
hour. IF unit still reads HI call for service
If this persists call for service
Remove stock and switch off unit. Failure
to do so may further damage the unit.
