Once you locate the code for your county or area,
use ▲ or ▼ until the correct number appears on the
screen then press ENTER to select it.

Enter all the codes you wish, then move to EXIT and
ENTER to select it. The radio returns to the RADIO
MENU screen.

Press MENU again to return to the marine mode.

Changing Channel Names

Each channel has a default name which
you can change. When a channel is
allocated to a specific service, changing
the name on your radio can help make
identification faster and easier. Or you
can change the name to a member of your boating family
such as MOMS CHANNEL. You can use up to 16 characters.
From the RADIO MENU, press ▲ or ▼ to highlight

Channel Name.

Press ENTER. Use ▲ or ▼ to
scroll to the desired channel you
wish to rename. Press ENTER.
Then choose Rename , Default, or
Exit. and select it.
If you choose Rename, press either ▲ or ▼ until the

first letter or number of the new name appears. Press
ENTER to select it and move to the
next character.
4.
When the name is complete,
repeatedly press ENTER until the
cursor reaches the right end of the
line. Then press ENTER again. A double beep sounds
confirming the change and the display returns to the
Channel Name menu. Use ▲ or ▼ to Exit and press
ENTER.
