    HOW THE WATERBOY WIZARD WORKS Data: Simplifying Rainwater Harvesting: Minimum mains pressure: 1) Using water from the rainwater tank the 200kPa Wizard supplies this to the toilet, washing machine or garden tap.   • Page 4 ASSEMBLING THE WIZARD CONTROLLER Step 1: Remove contents from packaging. Make sure the items shown are present. OPTIONAL Step 2: Check that the valve train connection has been pre-greased. If not apply tap grease to the O-ring Step 3: Attach the valve train to the pressure controller.

    INSTALLATION LOCATION ! The Waterboy Wizard must be located within 3 metres of the tank outlet and with a 240VAC power point within a metre. ! The Pressure Limiting Valve supplied with the unit must be fitted. ! There should also be a stop cock or isolation valve fitted to the tank and on the mains inlet to the Waterboy.
  • Page 6 INSTALLATION Step 5: Connect the mains inlet line to the valve train inlet using a suitable sealant. Step 6: Connect mains outlet line to the valve train outlet using a suitable sealant. Step 7: Install a filter between the tank and tank inlet. This ensures that clean water is supplied to the pump.
  • Page 7 INSTALLATION Step 8: Install isolation valve and pressure limiting valve to the mains inlet line. Step 9: Plug pump lead into controller. Step 10: Connect Wizard controller to 240Vac weather proof power point. Step 11: Prime the pump – see page 8. Step 12: Check the system for leaks.

    OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE Priming of Pump OPERATION 1. Fill tank to a level above the draw off point Before you start: 1. Make sure pump is primed (see commissioning procedure Page 4) 2. Waterboy Wizard is designed to handle clean water, do not use the system to supply bore water, dam water, grey water, storm water or recycled water.
  • Page 9 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE Turning On/Off: After all connections are made and the unit commissioned (as above) the mains water change over can be tested by switching off the power supply and turning on the tap activating the mains water flow. To return the system to run on the tank water supply, turn on the power supply.
