BROMIC Dimmer Switch w/ Wireless Remote for Electric Heaters BH3130011-2. The switch is not controlling the heater. The heaters come on when the circuit breaker in turned on. I have opened the box, confirmed the remote is communicating with the switch by observing the light blink when pressing a button. The LED light panel moves to different levels corresponding to the button pushed on the remote. However, the heater stays on at full power. I deleted and reconnected the remote, no change.

Several factors could cause the Bromic Heating Smart-Heat BH3130011-2 dimmer switch with a wireless remote to not control the heater properly:

1. Visible Damage or Tampering – If the controller shows signs of damage, it may not function correctly. Inspect the unit and contact the place of purchase if needed.

2. Incorrect Wiring or Installation – Ensure the controller is installed on a 110-277V AC single-phase power supply and that all wiring follows the proper specifications.

3. Remote Issues – The included 7-channel remote may not be functioning correctly. Check the battery and refer to the remote instruction manual for troubleshooting.

4. Transit Protection Not Removed – If applicable, make sure any transit protection has been removed before use.

5. Environmental Factors – The controller must be placed in a well-ventilated location and mounted on surfaces resistant to high temperatures. It should not be used in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar locations.

6. Soft-Start Configuration – If the soft-start function is misconfigured, it may affect heater operation. Verify the settings.

7. Power Supply Issues – If the controller has not been used for a long time, ensure the power supply is properly connected and that an all-pole switch with at least 3.5mm contact dimension is in place.

8. Accidental Cable Damage – Ensure that connection cables are properly protected from impacts and are in good condition.

Checking these factors should help diagnose and resolve issues with the dimmer switch controlling the heater.
