If you need to dial a prefix (such as 9) to
make a call outside your building, type
the prefix before the 1 in the Prefix box
and then click Dial. If the modem still
does not dial the number properly, you
may need to insert a comma between the
prefix and the 1 to force the modem to
pause after dialing the prefix.
