Charging the Headphones' Battery
Using the headphones for the first time
The headphones are powered by their built-in
rechargeable battery. When you use the
headphones
for the first time, proceed
to charge the
battery quickly (quick charge) in the following way.
The quick charge allows operation for about 4 hours.
Caution
Oo not perform the quick charge twice, or the
battery may be impaired because of the
overcharge.

1 Connect the suppiied AC power adaptor to the
DC IN 9V jack on the left
(The charging indicator lights up in green.)
2 Press the quick charge switch.
(The green charging indicator changes to red.) It
takes about an hour to complete
the quick
charge. (The red charging indicator changes to
green again.)
Recharging the headphones' rechargeabie
battery after use
Connect
the supplied AC power adaptor
to the OC
IN 9V jack on the left housing. The charging
indicator lights up in green and the battery is
charged continuously by trickle charging.
e{t takes about 20 hours to fully charge the battery
by trickle charging. The trickle charging allows
operation for about 15 hours.
elt is recommended to use the quick charge when
the POWER indicator is dim or turned off.
* Since little eiectric current is used for trickle
charging, there is no need to worry about
overcharging.
Notes
¢ Do not perform the quick charge when the POWER
indicator lights up, or the battery may be impaired
because
of the overcharge.
¢ The headphones cannot be used during the charging.
Adjusting the Operating
Voltage of the AC Power
Adaptor
For the customers supplied with the model
equipped with the VOLTAGE SELECDTOR
Before connecting the AC power adaptor to an AC
outlet, check that the VOLTAGE SELECTOR is
set to the correct position with the right operating
voltage. If not, set it to the correct position with a
screwdriver.
For the customers supplied with the AC
plug adaptor
if the plug of the AC power adaptor does not fit in
the AC outlet, use the supplied AC plug adaptor.
Note on the AC power adaptor
Use only the supplied AC power adaptor. Do not use any
other AC power adaptor, otherwise it may cause a
malfunction
of the unit.
